Mandatory Parent Education Online Class

Pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code and Butler County Local Rule DR 5, both parents are required to attend a Mandatory Parent Education Class. Parents are required to take such class through the Forensic Evaluation Services Center (513-869-4014). Parties are able to complete an interactive online class to fulfill this requirement. The costs for such classes are included in the filing fees for any divorce or dissolution with children.
The Court will NOT accept certificates from any other classes unless same has been previously approved by the presiding Judge.
To schedule the Mandatory Parent Education Class, participants may call the Forensic Evaluation Services Center at (513) 869-4014, email the center at parentingclass@fescoh.org, or complete the online form at https://fesc-oh.org/parenting-class-registration/. All certificates of completion will be submitted to Domestic Relations Court by Forensic Evaluation Services Center. The educational requirements MUST be completed prior to the final hearing. The Court may refuse to hold a final hearing if either parent fails to complete a class.
